What will be expected of you
- Provide immediate and continuous service and attention to all members/guests upon seating, introduce yourself, and request members club number.
- Set up and complete assigned side work, including inspecting all tables in the assigned section.
- Suggestive selling on menu items and highlight specials. Take member and guest orders. For special requests check with the kitchen first if it can be accommodated.
- Place orders with the kitchen through Jonas POS. Inform chefs/cooks about any special cooking instructions and or food allergies.
- Reset tables in your station and assist team members with their stations.
- Verify the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks.
- Keep tables, FOH restaurant, and BOH clean at all times.
- Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints and take action to resolve complaints.
- Perform clean-up, side work, and closing duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by supervisor/manager.
- 1 year of experience serving, required
- Wine knowledge, beginner
- This is a Summer Seasonal position
