Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a highly motivated and experienced Misc Metals and Structural Steel Estimator located in Frederick, MD. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project estimates. Daily tasks include analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and requirements, identifying cost factors, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to compile cost estimates. Additional responsibilities include maintaining updated records of estimated and actual project costs, and providing detailed estimations for project bids.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in construction/architectural drawings and specifications takeoff
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Experience with estimating software and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- At least 3 years’ experience in Misc Metals estimating required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
