What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Hand (Part time) position at Congruence Tucson?
CONGRUENCE TUCSON is seeking a reliable and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team in caring for our herd of horses.
As a Ranch Hand, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the ranch and ensuring the well-being of our animals. This position will require someone who is passionate about nature and can work outdoors in all types of weather. They will be organized and open to learning the process of the ranch chores as well as how to bring a calm and grounded energy to the animals.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Feeding and caring for animals on a daily basis
- Daily manure pick up, clean and fill troughs, clean and refill hay troughs
- Overall cleaning corral areas, hay barn, feeding sheds
- Monitoring the health of the herd and reporting any issues
Qualifications:
- Direct experience with horses
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to operate and maintain ranch equipment and tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability

We are looking for one part time candidate to join our current team. Meditation or mindfulness practice preferred. Location is in Tucson Mountains West.
