About the Role
As a Marketing Intern you will be responsible for the generation and quality of content to our growing community of startup leaders. In this position, you will work directly with the Founder & CEO on the following :
- Research industry-related topics, trending influencers, and news to identify gaps in our content
- Assist in the design, development and execution of all social media content across Instagram, TikTok & LinkedIn
- Assist in launching and maintaining our weekly newsletter across design, copywriting and scheduling while planning ahead to ensure topics align to our content release calendar
- Attend and capture behind the scenes content of events, photoshoots, podcasts and more
- Attend weekly brainstorming and progress meetings to ensure objectives are met
Requirements
Position Title : Marketing Intern
Internship Term : Spring 2025 (Feb through May 2025, exact dates TBD)
Compensation : This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to earn college credit
Desired Fields of Study : Journalism, English, Communications, Writing
Hours Desired : 15-20 / week
Location
This is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. You will be expected to be onsite 1-2 days per week.
The internship program is offered to students who are pursuing studies in : Marketing, Business Leadership or related fields. This position is an unpaid internship plus monthly stipend and the opportunity to earn school credit at a US accredited college.
