Job Title: Aerial Lineman - CDL Required
Department: Construction
Reports To: Construction Manager
Employment Status: Salary (Non-Exempt)
Primary Location: Mineral Wells, WV
Congruex is looking for a skilled Aerial Lineman to join our Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining aerial telecommunications systems which can consist of aerial and underground facilities.

Your New Job
We are seeking an experienced Aerial Lineman with thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, and the proper and safe use of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous telecommunications construction experience and a valid Driver's License (unrestricted).
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain aerial telecommunications systems
- Place and remove utility poles
- Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more
- Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers, and flag traffic when required
- Understand separation and clearance regulations
- Plan and initiate projects
- Trim trees and clear routes
- Interact with customers, utility owners, and governmental officials representing Congruex in a positive and professional manner
- Identify areas where processes and procedures could be improved to elevate the company as a whole
- Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use
Required Skills
- Thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, and the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance
- Valid Driver's License (unrestricted)
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- General knowledge of construction practices and equipment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with the crew, leadership, and clients
- Function effectively as an integral part of a team
- Meet physical demands - lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds
- Ability to perform all work outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions
- CDL preferred, or willing to obtain one
- OSHA certified
