About the Role
Conhagen- Kenner is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in rotating equipment and maintenance engineering to join our team. This role is crucial in driving reliability, efficiency, and performance improvements across our operations. Experience in refinery or chemical plant environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects related to rotating equipment repairs & rebuild, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gear systems.
- Develop job work-scopes and pricing, formatted for customer review.
- Work with shop supervision in the execution of work at Conhagen facility(ies).
- Provide / secure technical expertise and oversight to ensure quality of work performed by all parties involved in the project.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to troubleshoot and optimize rotating machinery performance.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to improve long-term equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Support capital and turnaround projects involving rotating equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Facilitate communication between Conhagen and customers and document as required.
- Manage contractors and vendors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
