Front Desk Associate

Job Description:

As Front Desk Associate, you will handle a combination of front-office and back-office responsibilities, manage various administrative duties, and interact directly with parents and campers. You'll be the welcoming face that greets campers and parents each morning. Representing Eudaimonia and LifeKour Academy, you will embody and promote our mission in every interaction.

• Handle camper check-in and check-out, including parent pick-up.

• Manage program registration and process retail purchases, including inventory updates and ordering.

• Answer and return phone calls and emails, providing outstanding customer service.

• Coordinate with coaches and provide necessary support, ensuring smooth operations.

• Troubleshoot issues related to campers or coaches and assist with emotional and physical injuries as needed.

• Maintain ongoing communication with parents and build strong relationships with campers and their families.

• Complete additional administrative tasks as directed, including managing daily cash and credit transactions, restocking front counter flyers and schedules, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

• Utilize software to communicate with management and fellow employees, update client information, and follow up as needed.

• Participate in periodic staff training, attend staff meetings, and meet weekly with a manager for updates.

• Experience working with children in a professional setting.

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service or front desk roles.

• Strong computer competency.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to high-pressure environments.

• People-oriented with a positive outlook and an outgoing personality.

• Demonstrates kindness, patience, and compassion in all interactions.

• Start Date: Position can start immediately on a part-time basis.

• Summer Hours: During the summer (May 26th to August 8th, Monday - Friday), hours can increase up to 30 hours per week.

• Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (flexibility available)

• Pay Rate: $20 per hour

• Work Environment: Located within Eudaimonia’s indoor facility

• Childcare: On-site options may be available for your children
