This Health Information Specialist Sr. role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to maintaining accurate and efficient electronic and paper health record systems. As a key member of our Department, you will be responsible for advanced functions within Document Imaging and Chart Analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Maintaining accurate and efficient electronic and paper health record systems.
- Chart Review: Reviewing medical records for completeness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by correcting errors and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years' experience in a hospital HIM department preferred.
- Certifications: RHIT or RHIA certification preferred.
