We are seeking an experienced Health Information Specialist Sr. to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient electronic and paper health record systems. Key responsibilities include advanced functions within Document Imaging and Chart Analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Document Imaging: Preparing, scanning, and indexing documents into the Document Management Solution/EMR.
- Chart Analysis: Reviewing medical records for completeness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by correcting errors and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years' experience in a hospital HIM department preferred.
- Certifications: RHIT or RHIA certification preferred.
