Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Lead Expo to join our team. As the Expediter, you will play a crucial role in building and labeling out all to-gos while ensure accurate and complete orders. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with pizza & kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area.
Duties
- Ensuring timely flow of food from kitchen and pizza stations to guest.
- Running the KDS station during service to track order status.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status, special requests, or any issues that may arise.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing assistance as needed during service.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude towards helping guests and providing excellent service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
