Role:- IT EDI Analyst
Type- Contract/C2C/W2/1099 (6 months or extension)
Location:-Houston, TX (onsite 3-4 days a week)
JD :
Minimum 5 years experienced EDI Analyst (Ideally IBM sterling EDI platform)
Job Purpose :
Operating under guidance from their manager, this role will be responsible for the development/delivery of information technology application and configuration solutions as they relate to the business functions the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Competency Center supports. This role should have experience in the area of Business Process, Project and Portfolio Management, solution delivery skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across peers. Participates in the analysis and development of automated processes for the Competency Center.
This role may be responsible for the tasks below:
- Execution of portfolio strategies and adhering to technical project schedules * Execution of application production support strategies and plans * Identification of risks and recommendations for risk mitigation * Project Status Updates, development of release notes, user documentation, Help functions, etc. * Development of custom components for application solutions * Testing application and configuration solutions * Application configuration and development and implementation * Troubleshooting application and configuration issues * Mentoring less experienced co-workers * Staying up to date on IT industry trends and technology solutions
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Education & Qualifications
University Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent experience
Experience
- 3 years of experience in EDI analysis, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- 3 years of implementation and delivery services, preferable for large complex projects and customers, supporting EDI solution applications
- 1 years of experience supporting the Supply Chain industry
- Strong working knowledge of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and XML
- Experience with EDI tools (IBM Sterling).
- Proficient in EDI mapping, transformation, and integration.
- Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
