What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Conklin Fashions?
Conklin Fashions, Inc. is a wholesale jewelry and accessories distributor with over 25 years of services to customers worldwide. Over the years we have developed close relationships with clients ranging from wholesalers and distributors to chain stores, private retailers, and countless other vendors.
We are currently seeking to grow our workforce in a multi-function position of Warehouse Associate. This position will be responsible for product relocation and organization, storage management and formation, and other such tasks as needed on a project-to-project basis. This position may involve long periods of lifting and moving merchandise and materials.
You will also be responsible for pulling product in sets and for orders. You will be expected to maintain a pull rate depending on the products that is reasonable but productive.
Pay starts at $15.50/hr with a 30 day probationary period and review. Further reviews are done based on need/availability to discuss performance and pay.

Responsibilities
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Pull merchandise in sets, accurately and in a timely fashion
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Requirements
- Punctuality
- Ability to stand/walk for long durations and navigate stairs and ladders multiple times daily
- Quick learner in understanding sorting and stocking procedures
- Team player with organizational skills, but able to work independently
- Ability to lift or move heavy products (50lbs )
- Able to work in temperatures around or below 40°F as well as around or above 80°F without limitation
