We are looking for a Long-Term Care Pharmacist to join our team! Our growing Resident Care Pharmacy located in Methuen, offers a unique opportunity for a professional pharmacist.
We are seeking a MA Licensed Pharmacist with BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D and minimum of 3 years' experience providing pharmacy health services to Long Term Care Customers.

Our staff of Pharmacists share POD schedule during our hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 7pm & Saturdays 9:00am - 2pm.

Qualifications:
- MA Registered Pharmacist license, PharmD
- Previous experience in Long Term Care Pharmacy Setting
- QS1
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality dispensing of drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness in a long-term care setting.
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications.
- Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage.
- Provide patient assessments and medication management, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information.
- Administer immunizations as required.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and manage inventory effectively.
- Utilize pharmacy software and systems to document patient care and medication administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient service and care quality.
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $123,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
