Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies to optimize supply chain performance and minimize costs. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best pricing and terms, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess future supply needs, and anticipate shifts in supplier negotiating power. Risk Management: Assess, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, operations, and marketing, to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals. Cost Reduction: Initiate and manage cost-saving initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce overall expenditure. Supplier Visits: Visit supplier facilities to evaluate operations and discuss business relationships. Advisory Role: Provide guidance to company personnel on procurement planning and best practices Required Qualifications: Education: B.S./B.A. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 5-7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or materials management, with specific experience in the electronics category. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and supply chain management tools. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and materials within the electronics category, including PCBA and electro-mechanical assemblies. 100% remote role with up to 30% travel. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP). Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry or similar product categories.
