We have an opening for a Cybersecurity Engineer in our Enterprise Information Technology Department. This position is on premises at our corporate location in Elkhart, IN. The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing cybersecurity measures, performing penetration testing, researching new attack vectors, and responding to security incidents within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Implement, maintain, and test security solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Research and recommend policies and procedures to prevent, and defend against, unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- Utilize threat intelligence and experience to perform active threat hunting.
- Investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents.
- Frequently audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the enterprise.
- Report to members of senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues.
- Develop dashboards, direct alerting, and risk-based alerting.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Interface with technical and non-technical users to conduct fact-finding interviews.
- Lead vulnerability and pen test campaigns, working with other IT staff, to guide patching and remediation.
