The Marketing (Content) Manager is an onsite position located at our corporate office Elkhart, IN and reports to the Marketing Manager of Band and Orchestra.

The Marketing (Content) Manager is an onsite position located at our corporate office Elkhart, IN and reports to the Marketing Manager of Band and Orchestra.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Band Orchestra teams to create engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, advertising, and editorial, that tells the Conn Selmer brand story, boosts product visibility, and drives engagement.
- Work with the Education team to create relevant educator tools, classroom resources, and engaging social content that highlights DOE resources and builds community.
- Manage monthly Sales and Education newsletters, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Education teams to curate content.
- Write clear and creative product marketing copy for websites, educational training materials, and sales resources across the full range of band and orchestra instruments and accessories.
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to develop promotional materials for tradeshows and events, focusing on lead generation.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
- 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or events
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Music, or a related field
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with content creation, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analytics
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Dynamics Marketing and CRM Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail, including proofreading and copywriting
- Preferred: Knowledge or experience with music and/or band and orchestra instruments
- Ability to sit for long periods, with occasional lifting of items over 20 pounds
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Willing to travel to trade shows and events
