What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant to Superintendent, Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment/Title I Services position at Conneaut School District?
ADMINSTRATIVE VACANCY
PERMANENT, 12 month position anticipated start date of Spring 2025 (Deadline for applications is March 11, 2025)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proper Pennsylvania Administrative Certification is necessary
- Five (5) years teaching experience in public education
- Post Masters work is necessary
- Degree or certification in Curriculum and Instruction or Administration helpful
- Letter of Eligibility preferred
- Excellent communication skills are necessary
- Must have experience with curriculum development and student assessment and Pennsylvania Academic Standards
- Must have knowledge of federal programs
RESPONSIBILITES: Including but not limited to:
- Ability to indirectly supervise professionals and paraprofessionals
- Directs in the development of the school district's Kindergarten through grade 12 curriculum, instruction and assessment in the development, revision and alignment process
- Coordinates Title I services throughout the school district, including Title I Reading
- Coordinates the professional development activities for professional and paraprofessionals
- Assists building principals and the Director of Special Education in efforts to improve student performance through professional development of staff, instruction modification and interventions that enhances student learning and improve test performance
- Coordinates educational technology needs and technology based professional development with the Director of Technology
- Assists the Superintendent in the school district's educational programs and general operations of the district
- Homeless Liaison
