Structured Wiring Technician for New Construction
*A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a company vehicle is a requirement of this position*
Daily job attendance is a must! Only those available Monday-Friday 7am-5pm should apply. Technicians could work 6-10 hour days depending on the workload. Technicians also travel within the state of Virginia during the workday, but do not spend nights out of town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technicians work with low voltage wiring *NOT ELECTRICAL* to wire houses under construction following the provided plans. Technicians must be able to understand simple drawings and spatial placements.
This position is a construction position, but light construction. Technicians do work on multiple jobsites throughout the day and are in homes under construction. These homes rarely have heat or air conditioning, but the walls, windows, doors and roofs are intact. Our crews are generally protected from the elements, even though they may still work in the temperatures of the day. Uniforms are provided and training is paid.
Technicians are required to drive a company vehicle from job to job and work with a crewmate. Drive time in company vehicles is paid. Our start time is typically 7am and the day ends when the work is complete. Most days, that time falls between 1pm and 5pm. We offer health, dental and vision insurance as well as PTO and paid vacation. Good job attendance is a must!
Our crews work with a variety of low voltage, home automation and home security equipment. *Security technicians must be registered with the state*

A technician starting in the new construction field pulling wire has the opportunity to move into more technical jobs over time with the proven ability to learn and apply learned skills.
