Role Overview :
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join us as Behavior Technicians. You will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior plans and teach important life skills. This role involves working in various settings, such as homes, schools, and community environments, to provide effective interventions, monitor progress, and assist clients in reaching their goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide direct, one-on-one support using ABA techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management.
- Collect and document data on client behavior and progress with accuracy using designated tools.
- Support clients in developing functional skills across areas like communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
- Create and maintain a positive, encouraging environment that promotes engagement, learning, and independence.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to track progress, adjust strategies as necessary, and maintain consistency across settings.
- Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and other professionals, providing updates and relevant information.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to expand your understanding and expertise in ABA.
