Position Summary :
We are looking for compassionate, driven individuals to become Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized behavior intervention plans and support clients in learning important life skills. These services will be delivered across a variety of settings, such as home, school, and community environments. Behavior Technicians are integral in delivering proven interventions, tracking progress, and helping clients reach their full potential.
Responsibilities :
- Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs.
- Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
- Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided.
- Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living.
- Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings.
- Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques.
