Summary: Plan, direct, coordinate or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation. This will include specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing. This will also include general superintendents, project managers, and constructors who manage, coordinate and supervise the construction process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides the job binder for every job.
· Schedules the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
· Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
· Determines the best course of action in the event of delays, bad weather or emergencies at the construction site.
· Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients while representing the owner or developer.
· Studies job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
· Plans, organizes and directs activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.
· Relays accurate job information from the binder to the office according to the budgets that are set.
· Adjusts and notify management if a budget is going to be exceeded before the job is complete.
· Follows all purchasing rules according to the company handbook.
· Determines if all subcontractor agreements are in writing on the Mid-Ohio Time and Materials Work Order Form or the Subcontractor Work Order Form.
· Communicates with office what work permits are needed.
· Responds to customers in a timely fashion.
· Inspects and reviews projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
· Evaluates construction methods and determine cost effectiveness of plans.
· Provides all receipts and timecards to the office staff in a timely fashion.
· Ensures that all job sites are clean and kept up.
· Ensures that all employees are abiding by all safety regulations.
· Provides budgets, estimates and invoice information to management from the laptop provided.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise all employees on job sites.

· Building and Construction – Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highway and roads.
· Design – Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in productions of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
· Public Safety and Security – Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
· Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
· Coordination – Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.
· Instructing – Teaching others how to do something.
· Mathematics – Using mathematics to solve problems.
· Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Qualifications:
Educations and/or Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management or civil engineering is preferred and 10 years equivalent work experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials. Must be able to life at least 50lbs.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
