What You’ll Do
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing the company’s payment processes. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like :
- Keep vendor information updated in our ERP system.
- Ensure 1099 records are maintained accurately.
- Process invoices (including 3-way P.O. matching) and vendor payments in line with agreed terms.
- Handle employee expense reimbursements and manage credit card bill processing.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and assist with monthly financial reviews.
- Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile accounts, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Maintain organized, accurate files and adhere to accounting best practices, including proper job costing and GL account coding.
- Post all bank transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
