About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced industrial machinery and systems. You will work directly with customers to ensure equipment is fully operational and meets their performance expectations. This position involves hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving, and frequent travel to client locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site installation, calibration, and commissioning of high-precision machinery and systems.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Provide detailed technical training and support to clients’ operational teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports after each field visit.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all operations.
• Continuously evaluate equipment performance and recommend optimization improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
• 2 years of experience in field service or commissioning, preferably in industrial automation or precision machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical schematics, and PLC programming.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and occasionally internationally.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
