Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is a 100% field-based, B2B sales role requiring a proven track record in outside sales. Your focus will be on prospecting new business, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within an established territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Hunting: Aggressively prospect and generate new leads by meeting in person with businesses in your assigned territory.
- Farming: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients through regular in-person visits, business reviews, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct on-site meetings with key clients (top 50 accounts), including lunch meetings and personalized relationship-building efforts.
- Focus exclusively on outside sales, conducting field visits daily to prospect, engage, and close business deals.
- Utilize CRM software to document sales activities, manage accounts, and report progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in outside B2B sales is mandatory. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Experience in telecommunications, managed services, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Proven success in a hunter/farmer sales model, with a focus on building and growing client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build trust in face-to-face interactions.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and resilient personality.
- Comfortable with cold calling and outbound sales efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 (commensurate with experience).
- OTE (On-Target Earnings): $65,000 to $75,000 for entry-level; six figures achievable with sales experience.

Travel Requirements:
This is a field-based role requiring regular local travel within the Northern Lancaster County/Reading or Harrisburg area. Expect daily travel for client meetings, prospecting activities, and relationship-building efforts, including occasional lunch meetings.
