In this Revenue Cycle Analyst role, you will play a critical role in identifying and validating additional revenue opportunities by analyzing hospital patient accounts. Your expertise in reimbursement processes, combined with strong Excel and EPIC skills, will drive accurate claim resolutions and help diagnose the root causes of underpayments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate hospital patient accounts to confirm claim reimbursement accuracy and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
- Utilize EPIC, patient accounting systems, and payer portals to research and resolve accounts in work queues.
- Review reimbursement calculations and underpayment issues while documenting findings to support appeals and resolution efforts.
- Diagnose root causes of underpayments, reviewing contract fee schedules and payment variables to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with support teams to pursue payers for claim resolution and reimbursement adjustments.
- Meet and exceed performance benchmarks for productivity, accuracy, and efficiency in claims validation.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of major payers (Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial insurance).
- Strong Proficiency in EPIC EHR (EPIC certification is strong preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation of reimbursement details.
- Analytical mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to document findings and collaborate effectively.
- Self-starter who thrives in an organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment.
