Connect Search is looking to hire a Full Time Internal Support professional that has tier 1 and 2 experience. Our office is located at 311 S. Wacker in downtown Chicago, IL.

We are looking for an organized, self-motivated Internal IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 and 2 support both in-office and remotely, assist with new laptop builds, manage inventory, and handle light networking tasks. You’ll work closely with our remote Senior IT Leader and help support both in-office and remote employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tier 1/2 Support: Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including MS Office Suite and other applications.
- Laptop Builds: Configure and deploy new laptops for staff.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory.
- Light Networking: Basic understanding of switches, firewalls, and ports (no advanced configuration needed).
- Azure & Intune: Support user management tasks, including password resets, and act as a power user.
- General IT Support: Respond to IT inquiries and resolve issues for both in-office and remote teams.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with laptop builds and basic inventory management.
- Basic networking knowledge (switches, firewalls, ports).
- Familiarity with Azure and Intune for user management and password resets.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow direction with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work with both in-office and remote teams.
Desirable Traits:
- Experience in IT support (Tier 1/2).
- Knowledge of remote IT support tools and processes.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
