Keys to an interview: Manager, Accounting | CPG

• CPA is preferred
• At least 5-6 years' Accounting experience
• Supervisory or Management experience
• Multi entity accounting experience preferred

Key responsibilities: Manager, Accounting | CPG

• Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely completion of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis across the income statement and balance sheet.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal and external reporting standards.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of required regulatory filings and tax reports across local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues to ensure alignment with GAAP and other technical standards.
• Uphold financial integrity through the review of general ledger reconciliations and implementation of internal quality control procedures.
• Establish and maintain robust accounting policies, documentation, and internal controls to support a strong compliance environment.
• Actively support the growth and performance of the accounting team through training, mentoring, and ongoing performance feedback.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting-related needs and contribute to broader finance initiatives.
• Remain adaptable and prepared to take on expanded responsibilities as the business evolves and grows.
