Summary
Connect Search is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Madison.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for assigned properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Complete company-wide payroll reporting following weekly payroll processing.
- Review and process payroll-related banking transactions, including instant checks, ACH returns, and positive pay exceptions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and tax reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Assist Accounting with payroll-related reconciliations, including uncashed checks and bank withdrawals.
- Resolve tax-related issues with payroll provider and oversee State Unemployment Insurance Tax (SUTA) reporting.
- Maintain compliance with payroll, wage, and hour regulations.
- Implement and manage the unclaimed property process and reporting.
- Complete employment verification requests.
- Assist with HR and payroll system updates and maintenance.
- Support Regional Managers, property leaders, and teammates with payroll-related inquiries.
Qualifications
