Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to lead Preconstruction activities on a pipeline of commercial projects in the Greater Tampa area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record in efficiently handling Estimating and bidding of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and design coordination for preconstruction activities.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare detailed project proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
• Oversee the project team and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project progress and address any issues.
• Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Preconstruction, specifically in PM or Estimating roles
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
