Job Title : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location : Virginia Beach, VA
Summary :
We are seeking a Full-Time LVN / LPN to join our team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will work directly with the overseeing provider and have experience in wound care, with an emphasis on community health education. The LVN / LPN will utilize community resources to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities. They will also coordinate care with intake staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications :
- Current LVN / LPN licensure to practice professional nursing in Virginia.
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with an insured automobile in accordance with state requirements.
- Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in wound care, public health, and home care nursing.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision required.
- Excellent observation, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and transferring patients.
