Drywaller / Painter

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT EXPERIENCE HANGING DRYWALL AND PAINTING.

Connect Staffing is seeking a well-skilled Drywaller / Painter for a restoration company that helps fix mold, smoke, and fire damage to homes and businesses in the city of Irvine, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements for the Drywaller / Painter:

• Minimum 6 months of recent experience hanging drywall and painting.
• Must pass a drug screen and background
• Must have experience with hanging drywall, mud, tape, and matching/blending texture.
• Prior experience in roles such as home restoration specialist, restoration technician, drywall hanger, drywall finisher, drywall installer, or similar is a huge plus!

Responsibilities of the Drywaller / Painter:

• Assess homes to identify damage, deterioration, or areas in need of repair or restoration.
• Make plans based on assessment findings, outlining necessary repairs, materials needed, and project timelines.
• Repairing structural damage, restoring surfaces (such as walls, floors, and ceilings), replacing damaged fixtures, and refinishing woodwork.
• Ensuring that all restoration work complies with relevant safety regulations and building codes to maintain the structural integrity and safety of the home.
• Communicating effectively with homeowners to discuss project goals, provide updates on progress, address concerns or questions, and ensure satisfaction with the restoration work completed.
