What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Connect Staffing?
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PERFORMING NDT LEVEL I AND II INSPECTIONS
Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a leading manufacturing company in North Houston!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (Occasional overtime and weekends)
Quality Control Inspector Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in performing NDT level I and II inspections
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Knowledge of welding symbols (MIG and TIG)
- Read and interpret blueprints in inch and metric
- High School Diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelors is a plus)
- Certified in QC, QM such as NDT or AWS preferred
- Must have computer skills, pay attention to detail and have a flexible work schedule
- Previous experience in roles such as Quality Auditor, Manufacturing Quality Technician, and Production is a huge plus!

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials in the different production stages to ensure it meets company standard
- Remain knowledgeable of the latest quality control standard to ensure compliance
- Ensured records and reports are accurately stored to track quality metrics and trends
- Successfully communicate with production teams and find areas of improvement
- Perform very thorough inspections of finished products and catch any potential defects before shipping
- Resolve any quality problems as they arise
