MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN FOOD/SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY PROFICIENCY IN R.O.S.S. OR GENESIS R&D SOFTWARE
Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Research and Development Technician for a food production company in CORONA CA.
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday
Requirements for the R&D Tech:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and industry software (ROSS, Genesis R&D)
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Must be able to pass a BG check, drug screen, and Everify
- Strong math and chemistry knowledge
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment
- Prior experience in roles such as R&D Lab Technician, Formulation Technician, Product Development Assistant, Food Science Technician, Quality Control (QC) Technician, Flavor Lab Assistant, Nutritional Lab Assistant, Blending Operator, Encapsulation Operator, Filling Machine Operator, Bottling Line Operator, Powder Filling Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the R&D Tech:
- Calibrate lab equipment, including scales, pH meters, and refractometers
- Develop product formulations from concept to finished design
- Draft master formulas, batch records, and mixing instructions
- Create nutrition/supplement facts and maintain accurate records
- Manage raw material samples, storage, and documentation for easy retrieval
- Responsible for the overall operation of the filling room
- Performing housekeeping and cleanup while following all safety rules and ensuring all GMPs’ and quality standards are met
