Role : Data Scientist 4
Richmond, VA(hybrid) Within 2 hrs drive to Richmond
Contract
Required Experience:
• 5 years prior business data analyst experience.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment for a matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge and experience with data reporting tools including Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, etc.
• Knowledge of SQL Databases like MS SQL Server and complex SQL Query Creation
• Strong knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologies. Familiarity with Government Processes, including Healthcare.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, principles, and techniques as they apply to Agile development process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to listen and relate with the customer.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong team player that is willing to always help other team members.
Desired Experience:
• Knowledge of the Healthcare Lifecycle or Behavioral Health a BIG Plus and those with this exp will be considered first but ONLY if this exp is clearly reflected on the resume.
• Ability to develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
Required Skills:
5 Years - Exp w/Business Intelligence/Data analysis reporting tools (Microsoft Power BI)
5 Years - Consolidate, interpret and present data in reports/dashboards for Executive, Team Leads and Individual End Users focused on Acquisition/Financial data
5 Years - Knowledge of SQL Databases like MS SQL Server and complex SQL Query Creation
5 Years - Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologies.
5 Years - Experience in gathering requirements from the clients.
Desired Skills:
5 Years - Exp within Health Care (Behavioral) industry a BIG plus. If so, must be clearly reflected on resume
