Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being, and community inclusion.
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Reliable transportation/Valid Driver’s License/Auto Insurance
· Ability to perform job duties without limitations or restrictions
· Positive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and community.
- Assist with personal care needs
- Encourage and support individuals in engaging in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.
- Document daily progress notes and report any concerns regarding health, safety, or well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
