Job Description: As a Clinical Dietitian , you will provide expert nutritional counseling, assessment, and education to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work closely with medical and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans that promote optimal health through proper nutrition.
Assess patients' nutritional status and develop personalized care plans
Provide nutrition therapy for a variety of medical conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders
Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in the system
Participate in patient care meetings and provide input on nutritional needs and treatment goals
Education & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited program
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
State Licensure as a Dietitian in Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
CPR/BLS Certification required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in clinical nutrition, particularly in hospital or outpatient settings, is preferred
