Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our client's team in Flagstaff, AZ . In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring images are of the highest quality for accurate diagnoses.
Assist patients in preparing for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
Monitor patients during MRI scans to ensure safety and comfort.
Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of MRI exams.
Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal image capture.
Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results as needed.
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Certification in MRI through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MRI) is required.
State licensure in Arizona as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience in MRI procedures and imaging preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and equipment operation.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
