Job Description:
Provide comprehensive care to patients in a critical access hospital, covering Emergency Room (ER), Med-Surg, and Long-Term Care (LTC) units.
Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient outcomes.
Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and overall health management.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Montana.
BLS, ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a critical access setting preferred.
Experience in Emergency Room, Med-Surg, and/or Long-Term Care settings is highly desirable.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
