Job Description:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a critical access hospital setting, covering Emergency Department (ED), Med Surg, and other specialty units.
Provide comprehensive assessments, implement and monitor treatment plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and care plans.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
Adapt to the dynamic needs of a critical access hospital, demonstrating flexibility and critical thinking skills.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a culture of safety and excellence.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Montana.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical access or specialty care setting preferred.
Experience in ED, Med Surg, or specialty units highly desirable.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of patient needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
