Position Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract/travel position in skilled nursing. This is a 4-week assignment with the potential for extensions based on performance and facility needs. The position requires working the PM shift, five days a week, with 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications: Active LPN license in the state of MN. Minimum of 1 year of experience in skilled nursing. Current BLS certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
