Job Description:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, injections, and EKGs.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance.
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
- Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska.
- CPR certification required; additional certifications such as IV therapy may be preferred.
- 1 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a family practice or primary care clinic.
