Key Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and analyze imaging results.
- Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Document patient information, imaging results, and procedural details accurately.
- Assist with patient care and answer any questions regarding procedures.
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- State licensure as required by Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
