Job Description:
- Perform clinical nursing duties, including vital signs assessments, patient history, and preparation for examinations.
- Assist the Physician Assistant (PA) with medical procedures, documentation, and patient care in the clinic.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Provide patient education on topics such as medication usage, health maintenance, and preventive care.
- Record and update patient medical records in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
- X-ray certification may be required for occasional diagnostic imaging, depending on the clinic's needs.
- Assist with routine clinical tasks such as preparing patients for exams, ensuring cleanliness of patient rooms, and stocking supplies.
- Work as part of a collaborative team, communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in rotating Saturday shifts as required.
- Current LPN or Medical Assistant license in the state of Nebraska required.
- Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification required.
- Limited X-ray certification a plus, but not required.
- Strong background in patient care, with clinical experience in a primary care setting preferred.
- Ability to assist in diagnostic procedures, including taking vital signs, administering injections, and drawing blood.
