Job Description:
- Provide Oncology nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and chemotherapy infusions as prescribed.
- Work closely with oncologists and other healthcare providers to create and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education regarding chemotherapy treatments, side effects, and supportive care.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after treatments and intervene as needed.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage and treat complex patient cases.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for those receiving oncology and infusion therapies.
- Participate in ER care, providing urgent care to patients with various medical needs.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during cancer treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Montana RN license required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification required.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) highly preferred.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 12 months.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 12 months.
- Minimum 2 years of Oncology/Infusion nursing experience preferred.
- 5x8 shifts, Monday to Friday, with a focus on work-life balance.
