Job Description:
- Provide emergency care in a fast-paced ER setting, assisting patients with a wide range of critical and non-critical conditions.
- Perform patient assessments, manage vital signs, and administer medications in the emergency room.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
- Assist with advanced procedures such as intubations, central line insertions, and wound care.
- Maintain detailed patient records in the EMR system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and procedures.
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement projects, and staff education as required.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Colorado Nursing License or multistate required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are recommended.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (preferably Cerner or similar) and basic computer skills.
- Competitive salary with a pay range of $34.01-$51.50 per hour, depending on experience.

- Shift differentials:
- Weekday Night Shift (7p-7a, Mon-Thurs): $6.00/hr
- Weekend Night Shift (7p-7a, Fri-Sun): $7.00/hr
