We are seeking a highly skilled Permanent ER RN for an exciting opportunity in Estes Park, Colorado. This is a full-time position with a starting pay range of $34.01-$51.50 per hour, depending on experience, and offers generous shift differentials. In addition, this position qualifies for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Job Description:

• Provide emergency care in a fast-paced ER setting, assisting patients with a wide range of critical and non-critical conditions.
• Perform patient assessments, manage vital signs, and administer medications in the emergency room.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
• Assist with advanced procedures such as intubations, central line insertions, and wound care.
• Maintain detailed patient records in the EMR system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and procedures.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement projects, and staff education as required.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and hospital policies.
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Colorado Nursing License or multistate required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are recommended.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (preferably Cerner or similar) and basic computer skills.
