Job Summary:

Connected Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Local Travel Urology Clinic RN for a 13-week contract opportunity in Watford City, ND. This position offers weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience. Job Description:

As a Local Travel Urology Clinic RN you will be an integral part of a specialized urology team, assisting with a variety of procedures and providing direct care to patients with urological conditions. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including catheter insertion/removal, leg bag changes, suprapubic tube management, and assisting urologists during procedures.

• Perform catheter insertion and removal for patients as needed.
• Change leg bags and educate patients on proper care and maintenance.
• Assist with the insertion and removal of suprapubic tubes.
• Assist providers during urology procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Monitor patients during pre- and post-procedure care, providing updates to physicians as necessary.
• Provide patient education on urological conditions, treatment options, and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation in the clinic’s EHR system.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide necessary patient care instructions.
• Ensure that the clinic is properly stocked with necessary medical supplies and that all equipment is functional.
• Foster a compassionate and professional environment, addressing patient concerns and providing excellent customer service.
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Dakota.
• At least 1 year of urology nursing experience or equivalent experience in a clinical setting.
• Comfortable with catheter insertion/removal, leg bag changes, and managing suprapubic tubes.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide patient education effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a urology clinic or outpatient care setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  
  

Compensation:

• Weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience.
• Housing available, plus housing stipend, travel reimbursement, and other benefits available.
