Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a local travel assignment near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Contract Length: 13 weeks

Weekly Compensation: Up to $10,200/week (based on experience)

Job Description: As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will play a critical role in the safe administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients throughout their treatment.

• Administer anesthesia agents and adjust dosage as required during surgery
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels before, during, and after procedures
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure the patient’s safety and comfort
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, evaluating medical histories, allergies, and current health status
• Assess patients’ reactions to anesthesia and adjust treatment as needed
• Provide post-operative care to monitor recovery from anesthesia
• Educate patients on the anesthesia process, addressing concerns and providing information
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and safety protocols
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements

• Active CRNA Certification from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
• Current RN License in South Dakota
• Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA in a clinical setting
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative surgical setting
