Job Description
- Provide advanced nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac status, and pain levels.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medication, assist with bedside procedures, and perform wound care.
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes and post-hospital care.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active, unencumbered Oklahoma license or compact state licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU/Step-down experience.
- Strong knowledge of PCU care protocols and ability to respond effectively to patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and the medical team.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Compassionate, with a focus on providing patient-centered care.
