Manufacturing Engineer (Cabling Focus) – Contract Manufacturing
Our growing Contract Manufacturing (CM) company is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in cabling to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the manufacturing and testing of cable and electro/mechanical systems, ensuring the highest quality production standards and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing processes for cable and electro/mechanical assembly.
- Perform testing, diagnostics, and root cause analysis to address production issues.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Use AutoCAD, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite to support engineering and production activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
- Interpret schematics and technical documentation to guide manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Acceptable: Associate degree or equivalent technical training.
- Experience: 3-5 years in cable manufacturing.
- Strong background in cable and electro/mechanical manufacturing, testing, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, Project, and ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Mid-level mechanical and electrical design skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
