Connected Systems has a client in need of an experienced consultant to guide and support the integration of power supplies. This role will involve collaborating closely with the team to design a module that is both cost-effective and compact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, manufacturing, and supply chain management of power electronic components.
*** This role is hybrid with several days remote, but must be able to travel onsite to the Warwick, RI area location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation on designing and developing a system-on-module (SOM).
- Lead and manage project development activities, coordinating efforts across teams and external partners.
- Experience working with power supply manufacturers
- Identify and apply cost-effective, manufacturing processes for high-volume production.
- Leverage SOM techniques to miniaturize power electronics, sensing, and control circuits.
- Ensure all solutions meet relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in the design, manufacturing, and supply chain management of power electronic components.
- Proven experience with SOM techniques for miniaturization and packaging of electronic components.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-voltage DC (HVDC) power supplies.
